Well, there could be a few options surround this, as you said you thought she liked you, she could be trying to make you jealous, but if she seems happy all the time then leave it, don't break her up with him else it'll make you seen like a fool.

Or she might not like you? You could of been getting mixed signals, this won't be the last time you can't have someone, believe me, and there's plenty more people out there.

well just because she has a boyfriend doesnt mean she doesnt like you back. everybidy has feelings to more than one person at a time.
spend more time with her and make it clearer that you show an intrest (not so clear that you get a punch in the face by your ex best friend though) and read the signs to see if she likes you back

Well first of all the word "ex" in ex-best friend is pretty important.. it means your not best friends now anyway so theres no need to worry about that

i think your best bet is if you just tell her..she either will tell you she likes you too or she may tell you she doesn't however the outcome will be good as then u know the truth.

if she did like you more than your "ex best friend" and her boyfriend i'm sure she'd sort that out considering after you tell her you like her..more doors open for her.
