Default Using PC RAM in laptop?

Hey, I was just wondering... I have two Packard Bell computers, one's a laptop and one's a PC (that's broken).

Is it possible for me to remove the RAM from the PC and put it into the laptop? How would I go about doing it if it was possible (is it just slot in and voila?)

Oh, and is it possible for me to put the processor in my laptop from the PC? The laptop is using a crap AMD processor @ 1.6Ghz, the PC has an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (I think) @ 2.4Ghz... I doubt I can, due to temperature and fan issues...

    Thanks!

Alright cheers guys, I had an inclination that it wasn't possible due to there being things called "laptop memory".

    Thanks again.

It does depend on the type of RAM, cos theres SODIMM, and some others I cant remember.

If the 2 computers had the same type of RAM, then it might be possible.

As for the processor... Nah, cant be done.

The answer is still no unless you had a very strange laptop or desktop.

My laptop is very strange but I don't think it's the correct strange!
