Just wondering do you need the internet to charge up your ipod?

nope. if ur dvd player has the usb thing, u can plug in it too u just ave to switch on the player

You can also charge it on your wii when its on standby (yellow light, not red) as its still on a little bit to check for updates I think. Works for me though.

Or just by a plug socket to usb adapter...

But apple should really send them instead of just usb

You can it charge it in any usb port, that is powered anyway.. my Xbox lets me charge it
