Default Hmm, am I right or am I wrong?

FlyDuo requested a script to be made on which I said I would do for £20 then he bargained me down to £15 which was cheap in the first place.

Then he said he would pay me £4.50 first then £10.50 after (weird number anyway) so he sent the £4.50 however due to PayPal charges I only received £4.15.

I then said I didn't have the time to do it because I have two layouts to code, a big project me and dylan are doing to code and a usersystem to code.

He requested back £4.50 even though I only received £4.15 in the first place and now he's saying I should pay the extra ammount when it's him who short changed me in the first place.

Before you say "why did you start his project when you had so much on" - yeah I shouldn't have but I thought I could fit it in.

But am I right or wrong?

Well I'm sure he knew that Paypal would deduct money from the payment.

I know it's only a small ammout I just don't see why I should pay the extra ammout when I never even received it in the first place.

@Excellent - exactly if he wanted me to receive £4.50 he should of sent a little extra to cover the charges, then I would of done the same now.

Yeah, it's his problem for short changing me in the first place, if I would of received the full £4.50 I would of made sure he received the same back. He can have £4.15 or nothing to be honest as I don't see why I should pay for him short changing me.

Well short changing is the wrong word for it. He knew that there are Paypal fees so he should have sent something like 4.90 to cover them.

Yeah that's what I'm basically trying to say, you just worded it better.

You could have just refunded his payment.. then he'd get the full 4.50 back.

Im doing it on principle. The fact that you were charging me £15 not £20 for it is completely irrelevant anyway and "Robbie!" is now doing it for £12 so it wasnt that cheap in the first place.

You requested it via paypal. I paid £4.50 deposit and a day later I'm told that you are "too busy to do it". I object to being paid only like £3.50 back (after paypal charges again) when I have done nothing wrong. £4.15 is fine which is why I said send me £4.50 back and that paypal charge is fine. I find it rediculous that I should have to foot the entire bill for your lazyness. If you really dont have time then why did you start this in the first place and why are you asking for flash designers for a new project of yours?
