Spotify on Windows 7

I'm having trouble getting Spotify to run on Windows 7 build 7077. I get this error:



Anyone else had this problem and fixed it?

I've searched around and it seems lots of people have been having this problem.

Try running it in compatibility mode for Vista/XP - otherwise, I have no idea!

Thanks anyway. I've found an older version which installs and lets me login but forces an update which obviously wont work. Does anyone know how to stop it updating?

I've got mine working in windows 7. It tries to automatically update a number of times but eventually it will open and start working.
