Default Getting a tube for the first time. Help :(

I've never ever been on a tube before and I'm so worried about it! If my journey goes wrong I am literally knackered as I'm getting a train from London to Northampton.

    Heres my journey pic:

What I'm worried about is the Arrive and Departure times. Some are at the same time of arrival. What does this imply?

    Thanks.

Google 'Tube map' and take a look at it, it's a bit overwhelming at first but it's rather simple. Tube's are a hell of a experience I think and they're not like much else, it's always nice and warm down there, the tubes seem ever so fast and in rush hour they're so full.

Just follow the very long escalators and they generally come every 5 or so minutes (Depends on the line and the time).

From Paddington go on the Hammersmith & City OR Circle Line to Kings Cross and then changed to the Northern Line which will take you to Euston.

Bare in mind they run in both directions so don't mix up north and south

The northern line is the best line btw so you'll be fine Basically, tubes aren't like trains, if you miss a tube you're not buggered because, as Jordy said, the come pretty frequently. But getting your head around the tube map will deffo help. Good luck xox

As long as you don't mix up Northbound, Southbound, Eastbound and Westbound with each other, you're fine. Each "Line" (the track you get) should have at least one or two maps showing you what stops are on it, with the current station you're already on at the top. Like this one which is a Westbound map:

The station you are at is in the blue box, so in that picture it is St. Pancras If you get on the right platform with the tube station name you need on a map like the one above, you're fine What tube stops do you need anyway, or haven't they specified any?

Get the circle line to Euston Square then walk the 30 seconds to Euston station.

Arr and Dep times are the same because trains stop for about 20 seconds.
