I got into the beta for this, and jesus christ was a fun game. It's shallow, it has some bugs and lulwutz but it's probably the most fun I've had in ages. I think this might even be better than the first Red Faction... nah not really.

Ok... The beta was so long ago, haven't heard anything new apart from the achievement list being released, was a fun game but ah well, I'll probably get it when I feel like it.

Yea I was on this like last year, I could check my download history and find out about when, it's quite old now though.

UnRAR it and burn it to a CD. D/C from live and put in, go to my games and the demo will be there.

i know there isnt multiplayer, which sucks

There is multiplayer. Thats why there was a multiplayer beta last year.

It's single player only, I found this quite fun actually, the destructibility in the game is awesome and the game keeps a steady frame rate when there is lots happening on screen.

I remember the first Red Faction, quite simply perfection in every sense. Number 2 missed the most so much that it shouldn't have had the RF stamp on it. I hope Guerilla re-introduces the story, the gameplay and the downright thrills you got in the first one... oh and tunnelling :3
