    Default how do i rip a movie onto a dvd?

    Hey guys,
    I have movies on my laptop that friends sent me online, how do i rip them onto a dvd?

    What's the file extension?
    I'm assuming it's .avi, so...
    http://www.xilisoft.com/avi-to-dvd-converter.html

    Use the free trial.

    When it runs out if you still need stuff, just do a google search on the term
    Avi to Dvd Converter Free
    If it isn't .avi, post what it is.

    Sorry for double post but is there any possible way i can link my laptop up to my tv so i can watch dvds off my laptop :S

    You could always burn the .dvd to a cd and use it in your dvd player?

    last night when i was talking to you, i used ConvertXtoDvd 3

    you choose the file, it then converrts it to pal and then burns takes about and hour but
