    Hey guys!

    I pay for 2mbp/s broadband. However, when i download something, ive only ever reached max 250kbp/s.

    Speedtest result:

    so the result of my speed is fine.

    However, how would i speed the download up when downloading ie: on torrents, games, etc..

    You're getting Megabits and Megabytes per second confused.

    250kb/s is the top download speed you should be getting.

    I'm not getting the confused, i know the diffrence. What im saying, is that im paying for 2MB but if i use multiple things, like downloading then plaiying on my ps3 etc it lags.

    A 2MB connection should reach 200kbp/s, so it's fine. My web is 6MB, and my max. download speed is 600kbp/s.

    And ofcourse, if you're using multiple things that use the connection, e.g. PS3 and downloading then in theory the connection will be split 50/50 between the two, making them slower.
