Resi Evil 5 - Ammo tips?

No matter how hard I try, I always seem to run out of ammo. Sure, loads of zombies drop it but it never seems to be enough. Any tips on conserving it?

I also run out of ammo on RE5, i just try to go for headshots to finish them in one shot, and also just request ammo from your friend, thats what i do but then she has to battle it out with her knife.

She tends to run outta ammo quickly too lol, silly girl.
And if I do headshots, more often that not they have tentacles growing out of their heads and take even more shots to kill -_-;

I went through the game without running out of ammo

I only ran out once on that bit with the flamethrower.

But i dont see how you can run out if you dont waste ur ammo :s

Get a hydra, then your sorted, buy loadsa shotgun shells, max it out, great wep
