Ok i'm not sure if i am the only one to have spotted this, but on the new lighthouse level on left 4 dead there is a date on the room next to the main light house, this reads 30/10/09. clearly stating this year.

now i am wondering wherther this was put delebiratley to hint at another possible release.

i am thinking either:

new content for left 4 dead
left 4 dead 2 (unlikley)
or the best, half life 2 episode 3

please check it out on the actuall level to
i found this quite intresting as it is the first easter egg i have found
