    Default Netgear WN111 USB Adapter

    Hey,

Got my adapter through the door today from Virgin Media and went to install which went well but when I try to connect to router it just dont wanna have it.

I know im entering the WPA key correct for a fact.

This is what the annoying software shows that came with it:

It wants to admit it's connected and has full signal. I think.

This is what windows network shows:

Than after a while of it "identifying" it just displays unidentified network like below:

As you can see im already connected to it VIA ethernet so I can browse for now and it's not cause of this cause i've disconnected that and got same problem.

I'm gonna quickly disable the security connect to it and see if that works.

    Any ideas?

    Regards,
    Berch

Can I ask WHY you installed the Netgear software? It's bloat. You should have just plugged it in and run the Vista driver wizard and pulled them off the disk.

In my experiance, Wireless adapters generally begin to work fine when you remove the bloat and let Windows manage it fully.
