Vista appearance settings

Well when I had vista before the settings were good when you went to start and hovered over a link it would go see through but now when I hover over a link it goes grey and looks tacky. The whole theme is rubbish

what do i hve to do?
Download drivers?

Get your video drivers installed and then right click the desktop > Properties and somewhere in there is the Aero theme that you have to enable.
