Never watched the anime but I have read a few chapters of the manga. Pretty good and insanely violent. It's probably one of those adaptions that starts good and ends up ****. The score on MAL isn't good, and why does the anime have only thirteen episodes when the manga has nearly 300 chapters and is still going?

I've seen all 26 episodes. It's a good anime, but I guess you have to like the violence and sexual parts to enjoy it. It's really sad..

Well... thirteen episodes in two seasons. What I said still stands. Why does the anime have so few episodes if the manga is so long? Fail adaption much.

Why are you implying that all long mangas have to have insanely long adaptions?

I'm not implying they have to have insanely long adaptions, but 26 episodes will hardly do a manga of 300 chapters any justice. All short adaptions of long manga's turn out ****.

Yep, really. The last six episodes of Claymore were absoutely ****. Claymore was just what I was thinking of as I was typing my other post. It should have continued to follow the manga or gone on hiatus.

Guyver is the only good short anime that was adapted from a long manga and that's because it follows the manga as much as it can and ends on a 'be to continued' note without having to make up it's own ending.
