    Default Strain Back Of Foot?

I get this sort of strain/pain back of my foot when i start to run. When i wake up its fine, and when i walk its fine, but when i start to jog i start to get a pain the back of my foot near my bone just above it, after that it starts to hurt when i walk until i sleep again? What can i do to cure this, got a footie match tomorrow.

sounds like your achilies tendon, most common injure around the ankle area.

I know it sounds hard but the best thing to do would be to sit out the game. Muscle strains can be very painful and are best left to rest. If it's recent you could try and put ice on it, stretch to the edge of pain and just rest.

Or you could do what pro footballers do. Take pain killers and play the next day. I would'nt reccommend it but if you MUST play that is the best option.

Soy has covered most of the options.

One more would be to strap it in warmth supports, this would just keep it warm and enable it to 'fix' itself quicker.
