Default HTC Touch Diamond 2 Released

Noticed it was no longer on the 'coming soon' section of the Carphone warehouse website and it lets you order them

I don't know weather I should get this phone or wait another month and get the Nokia N97

What do you think I should do?

Depends if you can live with windows mobile. I have it on my omnia and I love its versatility but its hardly lightning fast and the default programs (media player, internet explorer, messaging etc) need to be replaced as fast as possible, much like the desktop version of windows really

Actually I've just seen the contracts for it and they look wayyy to expensive. The thing with windows mobile (as with symbian and blackberry OS) is it never changes; the only difference between the devices is the hardware. Considering you could get the original touch diamond, touch HD, samsung omnia etc with the same capabilities for a far cheaper contract.

I don't have to take the contracts given. I'm already with Orange, if I upgrade it will be my third contract with them so I get a good deal

I think what im going to do is go into the carphone warehouse and ask if I can have a go on a demo touch diamond 2, see if I like windows mobile then decide from there
