    Yeah I just wondered why Habbo.co.uk(UK) server is located in Germany

    and others like Habbo.com(US) server is located in Finland

    Maybe because germany is cheaper in terms of connection for the datacenter or something? the connection is obviously fast considering people are connecting from the uk -> germany.

    I "think" that the head sulake offices are located in Finland if im correct.

    Germany's internet cables are all fibre optic, giving them faster speeds. Im guessing for that reason.

    Yes but so is the UK's, Virginmedia is fibre optic for home in the UK which i use. There network uses all fibre optic so data centers, the main two major ones i think is Bluesquare London and Maidenhead. London being the most expensive of course.

    Its probably cheaper to run. which in turn saves them money meaning more profit?

    I always thought that Uk's server was located in the Uk and US server in the US.. never really thought that the servers would be in totally different countries..
