    Hey guys,

I was looking at getting this: http://www.comet.co.uk/shopcomet/pro...R-ASX3200-9100

But I wanted your opinions on it and how it is for the price?

    Thanks!

Looks quite decent. Not sure if you could custom build for cheaper or find better else where. Take a look on http://meshcomputers.com - They have some pretty sweet sales on at the moment!

from mesh you could get the "Matrix Value" for a base price of £299 which already outspecs that acer (more hdd, faster proccessor)
Though if you wana up the budget back to around £400, you could customise and up the proccessor to an AMD Phenom 9850 Quad Core.

Equally for £400 you could go for http://www.ebuyer.com/product/159381 which for the price adds a high graphics card as well as even more hhd space (640GB) although unlike the others you would need to shellout an O/S on top of that

    Hi,
This computer is good for the money, but still like other posts said would be better to get a custom built one.

But if you don't that's a good pc to start with you could always upgrade very easily.

The processor, is not very powerful, but still could do good, for normal and bit of gaming use.

    Hope This helped

    Thank
    Tom

Very nice for it's price, inc. the accessories along with it. Yes, I probably would buy that if you are looking for a cheap, decent, computer.:-)

The RAM on that is terrible, you want 2-4GB's really if you want your computer to run decent programmes and not slow down, I suppose the HDD space etc isn't bad for the price but you can probably build a better PC for that price.
That's why we seize the moment, try to freeze it and own it, squeeze it and hold it cause we consider these minutes golden.
