no
They won't be informed I don't think, where you're applying now if they ask if you've got a job just say no![]()
That's why we seize the moment, try to freeze it and own it, squeeze it and hold it cause we consider these minutes golden.
Only if you put them down as a reference.
You have to ask them or tick the box saying that you don't want them to get
a reference before the interview otherwise yes they would find out if you were selected.
Whenever I've interviewed for a job and have been successful it has always been 'subject to references' so they wait until they took me on before contacting my previous employer... by then I've already handed in my resignation so it wasn't so bad
I’ll be a story in your head, but that’s okay, because we’re all stories in the end. Just make it a good one, eh? Because it was, you know. It was the best. A daft old man who stole a magic box and ran away. Did I ever tell you that I stole it? Well, I borrowed it. I always meant to take it back. Oh, that box, Amy, you’ll dream about that box. It’ll never leave you. Big and little at the same time. Brand-new and ancient and the bluest blue ever. And the times we had, eh? Would had…Never had. In your dreams, they’ll still be there. The Doctor and Amy Pond and the days that never came.
If you put them as a reference the manager of the place you've applied for may contact your current manager.
