Dead Snow. It's norweigen but according to my mate (who has seen like EVERY ZOMBIE FILM IN THE HISTORY OF ZOMBIE AND IM SERIOUS, EVERY SINGLE ONE), its probably the most astounding film, it uses the stereotypes to great effect.
Here is a complete list of like 300+ movies

I’ll be a story in your head, but that’s okay, because we’re all stories in the end. Just make it a good one, eh? Because it was, you know. It was the best. A daft old man who stole a magic box and ran away. Did I ever tell you that I stole it? Well, I borrowed it. I always meant to take it back. Oh, that box, Amy, you’ll dream about that box. It’ll never leave you. Big and little at the same time. Brand-new and ancient and the bluest blue ever. And the times we had, eh? Would had…Never had. In your dreams, they’ll still be there. The Doctor and Amy Pond and the days that never came.
It's crazy that everyone's missed out the best zombie film series of all time, by the creator of the true zombie, George A. Romero, the man who started it all, and continues to deliver the best living dead films.
Night of the Living Dead
Dawn of the Dead
Day of the Dead
Land of the Dead
Diary of the Dead
Island of the Dead (which is in pre-production)
The George Romero films, not the remakes like Day of the Dead 2 or the 2008 remake, or Tom Savini's 1990 flick with Todd, nor 2004's Dawn of the Dead.
Planet Terror is a great film. As for Dead Set, it's a TV series rather than a straight-up film, and a bad one at that.
