Some band was interested in me drumming for them, but because I was grounded and had NO way out of it for the first practice session, they continued to look for drummers just incase. They tell me to learn 3 songs for them and come to practice next week, but now they have supposedly found another drummer.
What is the point in telling me to learn 3 songs in my own damn time when they just go and get another drummer for the band, and also tell me to come to practice when I wont be needed.

I hadnt even met them as I missed the first practice for being grounded.
Anyway, a friend has said their current drummer sucks so if they come crying to me for another im not accepting..

why bother moaning if you're just going to turn them down if they do ask you?

Why bother? Because ive spent 8 hours on EACH of these songs this week totalling to a whole DAY worth of learning the songs they wanted me to play. Thats why im moaning. So if their drummer turns out to suck, im gonna turn them down for wasting my time in the first place.
