Ive never heard of this :s. i thought it was if you dont look over 21 you'll be id'd. to prove ur 18.

i think it's only certain stores that implement such rules. like i know the big asda near us doesn't sell alcohol between certain hours. but yeah you're right, you have to be 18 to buy any type of alcohol, to my knowlegde anyway.

If you're buying it from ASDA you can't be with anyone who is under 18 or doesn't have ID.

I work at the co-operative and we're told that we arn't allowed to sell alcohol to anyone under 21 on weekends, after 6pm. I never stick to it but we're supposed to.
