Who do you add on facebook?

Well a lot of my friends on facebook have hundreds of friends, and I don't really think they know them all personally.

So who exactly do you add? Do you only add real life friends, anyone you have heard of even though you haven't spoken to them or anyone you have spoken to including online?

I'm on 499 atm and I don't know where they all come from. I know I havn't just sat there and added random people because it's quite hard to find people to add on Facebook because you have to actually search their names. I've got everyone I went to school and like 10-15 from like the years below me n school (they added me lol), people I went to college with for 3 years, people I meet on nights out and probs about 4 people that I've met on here.

The only time I add randomers is if they've been tagged in a pic that one of my friends have been tagged in too and they look rather fit .

Mainly friends that I actually know, however I do from time to time accept online people that have added me.

I add people I know that I am on hello/goodbye terms with if I came across them. If someone I don't know adds me then I usually accept them unless they seem a bit weird, but I've not rejected anyone yet.

I have like 220 friends and I don't normally add people, I just accept people who I know.

People I know, otherwise they get a straight up "ignore". I occasionally let some people in I don't really know in, depending on how I don't really know them (for example, friend of a friend).

Unless I know who the person is then I won't accept. I have a few "friend requests" every time I go on because people from Habbo want to add me. Other than probably one or two people I don't know I don't have anybody I don't know on there.

i'm almost on 900 friends on facebook, about 100ish of them are from the app game 'mobwars' the others are people i've met out and about and most of the people i went to school with.

My facebook is personal, I don't see the point of adding randomers that I don't even know. I may only have like 200 as oppose to some of my friends that have over 500 but they don't even know most of them. I just use mne to keep in touch with people if I'm not going out.
