The Sims 3 - HELP

Ok i just brought the sims 3 today!
When ever i play (in the house where my sims live) after about 5 Mins the games goes onto a BLACK Screen and it ends up with me re - starting the games (Dose not do this all the time)

What's the spec on your computer?
Do you have a good graphics card?
Does your disk look damaged?

I think it means your serial key is fubared or something, try reinstalling it

If you got an older comp than like xp and mac it could not work, if you do have a newer comp then something must be wrong with the disc, maybe

My screen when pink and locked the computer once. It maybe something to do with EA Download Manager, but don't quote me on that. You have to have it open I think.

This game is extremely sensitive to overheating/unstable graphics cards.

I keep trying the game frezzes (SP) for a bit and then gose to a black screen, but you can still hear everythink??
