well this might not be very helpfull but if ur recording ur voice then make sure theres nothing in the background that will pick up. Also it might be if its an old mic somtimes it makes fuzzy noises. Sorry if this might not be that much help =S
Ambz xx
It could be that your microphone might not have noise cancellation, so it will pick up loud noises around you.
But there is no sound around me... Im just sat in my room and everyone is either out/down stairs. Anyway of getting that noise cancellation. Or, could you suggest some microphones that do have it and are good for DJing with and are a REASONABLE price.

That's the one I have, it's quite good
It was recommended to me when I first started DJing and I know a few other DJs have it aswell.

Yeah quite a few DJs use that, Depends how loud the noise is really, could hide it with a backing track if you are talking about using it with samhttp://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...3EHEADSETS.htm

If you go into the control panel of your PC click on Hardware & Sound > Manage Audio Devices > Recording > Microphone > Properties > Levels
Check what your microphone boost is at, mine's at 20 but when it's at 30 I get a horrible background noise. If it's not that and it's not too bad like Dinasaw said try covering it with a backing track![]()
