Heres a guide chelseaboy wrote for the HabboHood Happenings when he was staff, it's quite long but his was fairly successful:
Habbo Help Centres – Any Easy Guide To Making Your Own
Thinking of setting up your own help centre on Habbo, well it is not as easy as you think but if you follow our simple guide then you should get off to a flying start
1) Plan your help centre
Before you start actually doing anything, think about what you want to achieve and work out a sensible plan to get ther. If you try to do to much at once then it wont work. Your plan could be something like this.
1 – Build Main Room
2 – Recruit Staff
3 – Hire Trialists
4 – Set Up Forum
6 – Build Training Room
5 – Set Up Staff & Trialist Training
6 – Decide On Managers
7 – Build Web Page
2) Make a room
The layout of the room is quite important you need to make sure there is plenty of space for people to sit if they need help but also make sure there isn’t too much furni around the door, as this will cause a problem with blockers. You may want to think about adding other rooms later like a staff entrance so that not everyone has rights in the main room, and a meeting/training room but remember it isn’t the number of rooms that is important it is the service you provide.
3) Recruit Some Staff
You need to recruit staff that will give out the right advice to Habbo’s in need if they give out the wrong advice then it isn’t really a help centre. Interviewing is a good idea, ask them a few safety questions see how they answer, you could also ask friends if they want to work with you.
4) Start Small
Everyone wants the most popular room on Habbo, but it is often best to start small a few staff that are dedicated than 20 that never show up.
5) Communication
You need a way for your staff to communicate, weekly meetings are a good idea but a lot of Help Centres use a forum. Forums are good because they are easy to update and simple to use, you can post staff lists, updates & any news there, then ask staff to read it every day.
6) Trialists
Once you have a few good staff members you will want to expand your staff numbers so you can help more people, try recruiting people to work on a 2 week trial period so you can see how good they are before you make them full staff.
7) Train Your Staff
No-one knows everything and training can be a valuable part of any Help Centre, try to make training fun use role-plays and demonstrations so staff don’t fall asleep, encourage them to contribute ideas that way they will feel valued.
8) Management
Once you have a few staff you might want to think about a management structure, so that any problems that occur while you are away can be dealt with you should pick staff that have a mature approach and come into work regularly a bad manager can cause more problems than they solve.
9) Learn From Other Help Centres
Try visiting other Help Centres, see what they do that works and what doesn’t, you can learn from Help Centres that have been open a long time.
10) Remember To Have FUN
It is good to help people and it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside but remember Habbo is about fun too, try planning a few parties for the staff and remember if it all gets too stressful click the x and take a break.
Hello
After Secat just said some wonderful info, i can't really top it.
All i can say is, if your target is to help, just go out there and do it.
When my help desk started, i wasn't very rich at all, and now i have built up to over 20 habbo club sofas, not a lot compared to others, but enough!
Go for it mate!
To help you sort little parts of your help desk out you could set up teams like.
: Recruitment team , who interview and help trialists
: Tech Team , Who provide infomation on the technical areas of habbo etc
: Events team , the events team will help rise the populairty of your desk
: Staff Relations , this team will sort out little problems beetween staff
Hope this helps
