New Skin(s)..?

Has HabboxForum ever thought of doing a brand new orginal skin? Some of the current skins are old.

It'd be nice to see them updated but I doubt it's top of managements current priorities. We have a wide selection as it is, some forums only have one or two skins, HxF has produced quite a few and everyone should like at least one. I imagine in the future new ones will be produced.

It wont happen cos the only decent skin designer they had were tom and now he freelances skins and he wont do hxf cos they wont pay him.

I have no doubt they could find somebody to do one for free should they wish to. There are a lot of people who would do it just to help out and get the credit for it which Habbox would give them. May or may not be hard to find someone to do it for free but it could be done.

Well when you design a Habbox skin you need to do very little editing to the templates, preferably none at all. As the forum must remain up to date so that all the security fixes are received, the templates will need reverting and then the change remade, which is alot of hassle.

Also the skins are created on a different forum so that the current one is not affected by any changes made, and also to reduce the number of Administrators on this forum. I was sort of an exception to this I'd imagine the current selection of skins staying until vBulletin 4 is released, but we may see another one, who knows!

when vb 4 is out this forum will have to stay on the current software while the test forums will have to recreate the skins, sounds fun Joshuar !

They may do that, i'd imagine that the Classic Skin will be reinvented on the new one then it could just be updated with one skin while the new ones are made.
