    Default iPod Firmware Question

    Hey Guys,

I just download iPod Touch 3.0 Firemware for iPod Touch 1st generation. I'm currently running iTunes 8.2 when I click restore it doesn't ask me what file it wants me to use.

Do I have to use a previous version of iTunes?

I just used the iPod 3.0 firmware now. I just connected the iPod and held alt/option [mac] or shift on windows then clicked restore. Then I selected the file from my desktop.

Is the 3.0 firmware any good? I haven't got it yet as I haven't checked if it's been jailbroken.

I'm also thinking the same, is the firmware any good?
