    Default Iranian National Elections.

People In Iran today are turning out in record numbers to vote for their favoured Presidential candidates.

The two main forerunners are incumbant President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and reformist former PM Mir Hossein Mousavi. At the moment it appears to be close but the news is that that the challenger is edging the vote in all but one of Iran's electoral districts.

President Obama has come out and said this is an exciting time for Iran due to the relaxed, liberal approach that is being preached by Mousavi in contrast to the ultra conservative, questionable rule of their current leader.

I just hope the results wont be rigged as I think its fantastic that Middle Eastern countries such as Iran wont be stereotyped as extremist Islamic countries with wild dictators by the Western media if someone like Mousavi takes office.
    something.
