    Default buying a car.

hey, im looking to buy a car, I have around £1000 to spend. Do you know of any websites that sell cars other than:

    eBay
    AutoTrader
    PistonHeads

    thanks.

I don't really know of any other websites that sell cars but I would really recommend Autotrader as I got my car off of here and I felt a bit more comfortable using it than somewhere like eBay.
Although what I would say is, is use a trader i.e. a car dealership rather than an private seller because if you were unfortunate to find that there is something wrong with your car after you have brought it you have more chance of getting it sorted if it's from a trader than trying to hunt down the private seller and getting fobbed off.
Sorry you may know this already as I dont know whether it's your first car your buying, but im guessing it is
Also try looking in your local paper as there are usually sections in there with people selling cars.

I think you will find the cheapest car on there is about £2,999 ish..
I think the best place is to go around and look around at car sellers, i think thats the best way to do it.. Or auctions..

The best value for money cars will be at your local garages, for under £1000 don't be expecting a free warranty and a car that is like new, though.
