Am I missing something here?

I was excited when I heard about the new iPhone software (3.0) and didn't want to look at all the things it did so it would be a surprise. I already knew about MMS and copy and paste but knew nothing else apart from the fact that it has 100 new features. Yesterday night I downloaded it, saw the new search feature, MMS and copy and paste. BUT WHAT ELSE IS NEW?!!! I've been on it for ages and have noticed like 3 minor changes. Why was there such a big hype? If anyone could point out a few other good new features then I would appreciate it. I'm expecting 97 btw. :rolleyes:

Theres loads of awesome SDK stuff meaning Apps can do a whole lot more too like multiplayer gaming over the WLAN, Bluetooth etc.

Forgot to mention this, I was in the o2 store yesterday asking about the 3GS, they mentioned the internet tethering but said you have to pay an extra £15 a month for 3 or 4 GB of internet tethering. Would of loved it if it tied in with the unlimited browsing package.

I know that, but Mr.Android has a pretty helpful link on how to get tethering on your 3G, for free, ask him for it.

Also, you now have the ability to use Text messaging and E-mailing in landscape keyboard mode instead of the normal portrait mode, which is I can tell you, A LOT BETTER, AND EASIER.

Noticed the new keyboards, I will ask him for the link - just as long as it seems safe so I don't get a bill for like £1000.

No, as long as you don't watch iPlayer/YouTube a ridiculous amount, but if you just going to be using it for web browsing/msn then it won't affect the cost at all.

Can't wait for this jailbreak to come out though, miss it much.
