    Default Partitions

    Right so ive got a partition on my external harddrive but im wandering if it was possible to install an OS on there?

    Should be yeah but external hard-drive speeds are generally slow so the OS would be very slow and probably not worth using.

    USB 2.0 is rather slow but if you're using ethernet or SATA you should be able to manage it.

    Well its because I want to install the sims 3 on there so would i be ok to play or not?
