Title says it all pretty much, you still get the warning about loosing furniture, but once deleted the furniture goes back into your hand.
If you think i'm messing with you, test it out for yourself, put a norm in an empty room and delete it
This is a great new feature which should stop people from deleting rooms with furniture in them accidentally

Tested with some Hello furni - it does go back to ur hand
Definately a good feature.
Not online very often

and if they change the rule with no announcement somme people could lose out on loads.
