New Layout - Comments/ Suggestions Please

Well, tbh, I suck at designing layouts. I was playing around with fireworks, and this what I came up with.



Please give me some suggestions on how I could make it better, as it'd be much appreciated.

Looks nice, abit dark and dull tho, try brightening it up?

It's actually quite good. Maybe add gradient to the box headers (the grey rectangles). Althought iDenning is right, it's a bit dull, maybe black, red and white?
