Default How to open up a .mdb file?

I am working on a flash project which interfaces with a database.

Someone has sent me a .mdb file so i can get an idea of what the database looks like.

Problem is i don't have ms access.

Is there any other way to open this file?

    Using a Linux OS.

EDIT: I can open it but it opens with just weird words and letters which i don't understand. Don't know if it's coded and needs to be decrypted? Friend can open it with Vista/Xp without a problem.
