Texting Abroad!

im on orange - dolphin - contract

i want to text someone in cyprus will it cost money or i know some networks use 4 texts instead of 1.

any idea?

I would have thought it would cost money, check the roaming terms on the Orange website.

Depends if your on contract, I dont pay extra so if your going to txt often then look into contracts. It will cost your friend a bit too.

Nope, the EU has done you a favour. As of last week, mobile phone companies in the EU aren't allowed to charge over 11 euro cent (Roughly 9.6p) per text when your abroad in the EU (Cyprus is in the EU).

So you'll be paying less than 10p per text that's for sure.

Abroad always costs you and the person who's abroad, if it's costing you say 10p per text it'll cost them like 20p per text.
