They are all the plugins and stuff you gotta download, what the server has installed, so you can be par with everybody else, it can take like 5 minutes, but its worth it in the end

Look at the name of the addon that's downloading and find it either on the facepunch forums or garrysmod.org.
Failing that find a game server that has fast download activated

Yeah, some servers have more, some have less, but once you have downloaded them, you won't need to do so again!

Yeah i use to love this game especially its rpg version were you piss people off, and the sandboxes those were good, but i got vat banned so yh "fail".

i downloaded a sandbox first which took about 30 mins to get all files then everything else basically takes 2 mins.

That's normal, it's addons and everything people have on the server.
To save yourself some time, download PHX 3 & WireMod
