    Default Habbo Casinos

Kids see an advertisement and log on to www.habbohotel.co.uk, they see how people listen to you and respect you more when you have the HC badge so they beg their parents for credits to become a member. This is the beggining of the obsession that slowly forms through using this brainwashing game. Once you are Habbo club you start to see how the more rares you have the more people tend to "Like you" i am referring to the "Butt kissers". Kids steal their parents credit cards, run up huge phone bills, spend all of their allowance just so they can feel liked which in essence is actually being used. Casinos in the game are creating gambling addictions for alot of users, some kids will constantly deposit coins just so they can play a few games in one of the casinos hoping to have a lucky streak and "Get rich". These casinos operate with no safe gambling procedures and no responsible management, they are fully illegal underage casinos and alot of people would argue that it is not the same because they are using furni instead of money... Some people make deposits for the sole purpose of wagering a bet, these items carry a credit value and credits are created from depositing money and therefore they are wagering money on these games. Habbo hotel for the safety of its users needs to remove all the dice and the word Casino needs to be BOBBA'd out, this is an ongoing and growing problem that should not be tolerated by a corporation whos customers average from 12-16 years of age. Sulake corps biggest investor is directly tied to the worlds largest online gambling firm and this shows the distinctive similarity in their investment. I myself having operated a casino have seen a fair share of users make large bets which in credit value exceed 4000 thousand credits. It is a serious problem and Sulake should not tolerate casinos in the game. PLEASE NOTE : I dont care if you have read the habbo way and it says "YADDA YADDA YADDA" Casinos should not exist but without them in the game Sulake corps revenue would substantially decrease and I am 100% sure that they are fully aware of that. Casinos are no good for the average user, they benefit the rich casino owners in the game and they benefit the executive staff of Sulake Labs while creating an addiction to gambling for some users.

You have made some good points here and I agree, people do pay too much just to lose it all when betting. However, I do not agree that Casino's should be banned or bobba'd but maybe a limit on how much you can bet depending on how much furniture you have. I understand what you are saying here but maybe your ideas go a bit far. Casino's play a big part of Habbo. Some people go on Habbo and all's they do is enter Casino's and bet. I myself used to be in Rare Trades Casino's all the time on Habbo when I could be bothered having furni and may people are like this. If the Casino's are closed then i think Habbo will lose many members who liked Casino's

I'm 12 and I've been on habbo since I was 8. I always want to bet of habbo, course you would, you want that chance of winning. Some good points made, and I'm trying my best not to buy credits. My friends or so I used to call them used me for my furni.
I used to buy creds and they convinved me to spend it on them so overall I've spent
    lyke 100 quid on Habbo.

True, I'm not going to spend any more money on a company that never listens to their customers, replies to emails and generally never helps people that put a lot of money into their pockets.

I honestly speak from experience in this thread, I love casinos and in Habbo its a huge part of the reason I played. If you ever found me in a room that wasnt a casino it would be quite strange, I was always in them and they are definately the life of this game. I just honestly think that Sulake can see the damage but on a financial level they would rather keep the income high instead of eliminating potential gambling problems. If casinos were removed from the hotel I would definately be gone from this game, although on the moral side of things I do believe they should not be allowed to exist in the hotel

I can vouch for the fact that these rares do have an actual value, I will admit now that I sold alot of my rares for money, I was concerned that one day all of the thrones and everything else I had obtained would be obsolete and no longer carry such a strong value, so more or less I decided to cash in my stock which was around 80% of my posessions. The average rate in which people resell rares is at a range of £1 per hc, I myself have taken bets which have reached a total of 80 hcs worth in 1 single game. If your doing the math here, technically some person just wagered £80 on a roll of a couple dice and lost all £80 worth of their supers in a matter of seconds.....
