Get some spot cream and moisturiser. Or steam your face to open your pores.

Don't squeeze spots. ESPECIALLY blackheads - it will get you nowhere. The fact that you get a lot of blackheads suggests to me you are of the oily skin type, rather than dry or combination. Therefore I would suggest buying cleansing exfoliator which will help to open your pores and remove the blackheads. It's also important to replace the moisture with a moisturiser after using an exfoliator. Make sure it is a non-greasy moisturiser preferably without alcohol content. You should use the exfoliator two - three times a week and the moisturiser daily. Stick to this routine and I expect you will see an improvement .

Use Biore, you can buy the stuff at Boots or online.
http://www.biore.co.uk/61.asp < those nose strips are proper good fun, they pull the blackheads out.

You could always try waxing your blackheads out too, though it's never given me any results

I either pop them, which you're not meant to do, which clears the pore but leaves a small brown mark not unlike a freckle. The brown mark will go away and I tend to find that I'd rather have a random freckle than a blackhead which takes ages to go away.
Or exfoliating which also helps and it costs less than some random cream or gel or whatever from a shop. Get yourself a sponge with a rough side, you can get them in Tesco or what have you. Wash your face with hot water and run the sponge under the hot water. Then just scrub your face with the sponge (rough side) all over, quite roughly but not too much obviously. I normally find my face looks a wee bit red after I do it from the abrasion against the skin but your skin will feel perfectly smooth and soft as well as having the blackheads reduced. If you don't want to buy a special sponge cause you're not a real man, just use a towel.

Biore strips are the best thing to remove blackheads - just wash your face with hot water before you use them to open your pores.
