If you pre-order windows 7 now, do you get vista until that point, or do you wait for 7?

It's more if you buy Vista now, I think you get the Windows 7 upgrade for free. So yeah better to do that.

Nah its more for W7 but you do get a free upgrade, I'm pretty sure of it. Its to encourage last-ditch sales of Vista I think. Originally Posted by Dom C

Hurry up and pre-order it. Amazon have sold out and Play.com has increased the price from £50 to £80.

Hmm Vista has hiked in price for the free upgrade too :\ Microsoft store still has W7 at a good price though

Just go buy the windows 7 disks at the MS store, then use a pirated XP or keep re-arming Vista until you do get W7.
