Well, I spent about 20 minutes on this, well, 2 days, but most of it was spent talking lol so 20 minutes really. Wandering what you all thought of it. I tried to make it match my blog which you can see here. I feel it matches, your opinions please. I see that you've tried to copy Joe Warburton's portfolio, but unfortunately you failed... Badly. Please don't say you used it as 'inspiration' because you didn't, you tried to do a plain imitation but even failed to do that.

I don't understand how I have copied it? I see no similaritys but the colours.

The only similar part is the background colour?

If you check inspiration sites, you'll see 90% of them have twitter icons and boxes when it comes to portfolios and blogs. So i really dont see how he copied it. Every time someone uses a black gradient background, and twitter, they're copying Joe now are they ?

the twitter box is commonly used and the background is just a colour. It was unknown to me that this colour was copyright to Joe.

You have such a point, ripping layouts has just turned into pathetic crap now. I mean, people accuse you of ripping because you used the rounded rectangle tool and it looked like someone else's layout...
