Seriously who's going to use the nightvision goggles though? Not only do they look incredibly tacky, they're one of them things which will be fun for 5 minutes before you just get bored of them.

    Why not just burn money?

Don't get why you're saying they look tacky, they look amazing, that's exactly how they're meant to look, they're "advanced" technology used for infiltration and what not in the dark, they're not a fasion item they don't need to look good, personally I think they look awesome, I just wouldn't pay so much for a game.

The difference is though, the one's included are fashion items, they're not "advanced" technology what-so-ever, it's incredibly basic the stuff you find at consumer level and people who buy the Prestige Edition won't be using them for infiltration, that's what the army uses them for.

No they're not a fashion item, they are a collectors item, for the people with money now that could sell them in 20 years for quite alot, of course these aren't going to be *REAL* ones but it's still not tacky, not like the lame ones that you could get in Toys R Us which was just green glasses with torches.

There's no evidence gaming collectables are worth anything within the future so that's an enormous gamble especially when they're making loads, it's not like they're limiting it to 5000?

I honestly do believe these will be some robust looking glasses which have green tape across them with a little red LED stuck next to them.

You can't buy nightvision goggles under £200 so how are they going to manage it? The same way Toys R Us does.

Gotta agree, it's nothing more than useless tat. Why would you want a pair of night vision goggles? You don't, but you'll go and buy them for the novetly then a week later regret it.

A game is a game, not some fancy cheap plastic crap for £70 more.
