Default [HELP] MAC OS X LEOPARD

    Hey,

so my friend that I mentioned with the iPhone 3G also bought a Macbook White and it came with Mac OS X leopard (a legal copy) anyways. He went to turn on the computer and he got a File with a "?" mark flashing.

So he put in the OS X disk to format the HD and then reinstall it, so he went into disk utility and his HD doesn't appear.

    Any help?

He's installing it on his macbook or PC now? If it's his PC then he can't install it. It isn't designed to install in PC's, although it can if they are intel, but nothing will work. You need graphics drivers, audio, networking, fixes for PC's like the PS2 mouse fix, etc. It just won't work.

Check the HDD is properly connected in the MacBook, if that doesn't work and it doesn't show up at all in Disk Util then take it to a genius bar.
