Sony Ericsson C905 Red-eye help

Just wondering really....

I go out clubbing quite a lot but whenever I put the red-eye reduct feature on it never actually stops the red eye! It flashes twice (maybe three times I forget) but shouldn't this stop the red-eye from happening?

Not sure if anyone else has this phone or the same kinda firmware for the camera but theres things like twilight settings and twilight portrait but I haven't tried them yet.

Anyone know why i keep getting red-eye?

The lights might have an effect on peoples eyes, thats the only thing I can think of.

I dunno, i just thought the first flash was to light up the photo and the second was to get rid of the red-eye

The first flash is actually what removes the red eye IIRC.

It may just be the other lights in the club to be honest, see if it does it outside etc.

Yeah I still get red eye when im in the smoking area outside so I'm not sure why it keeps doing it.
