Default Need a little help jailbreaking

Basically I've done everything this tells me to:

    http://www.quickpwn.com/2009/06/how-...h-redsn0w.html

I'm up to the part where I'm suppose to put it in DFU mode, it says that it was unable to detect a DFU device. Everytime I put it into DFU mode I get a windows pop up saying "we have detected a DFU device" and something about installing its driver. My iPhone won't turn on anymore btw. I'm gonna go to sleep now, I hope that I'll have some posts by the morning.

    Additional information:

    Operating system: Windows Vista
    iPhone: 3G
    Version: 3.0

Thanks in advance and I'll +rep you all.

Does the resn0w not detect the iPhone in DFU mode and proceed to jailbreak then? It shouldn't matter if iTunes detects the iPhone in DFU mode either. Anywho, you might want to do a restore on iTunes any try again.

I had the same problem except I was on Mac OS X. It worked fine when I used PwnageTool.
