G5 The G9 looks ugly and doesn't look very comfortable, even though it has a higher dpi, but the G5 has a good 2,000 dpi which is all you need. The MX518 looks ok, but has a lower dpi. So it's that sort of reasoning really.

My mate bought the G5, it came with weights that you can put inside it. I didn't really understand why.

Adjust it for different games etc, making it easier to snipe than perhaps move around etc. It's pretty hardcore stuff.

Replacement for G5 announced today so I wouldn't buy it considering it'll be outdated very soon and it's already four years old. http://www.engadget.com/2009/08/06/l...-gaming-heads/

The G9 is immensely comfortable from my experiences, not as comfortable as the MX Revolution but then again, that isn't for gaming. I'd also consider looking into the Microsoft sidewinders' and Razer mice.

You would be surprised at how comfy the G9 actually is.

If you can afford it, get the G9. Looks great and feels great. Not so good for people with BIG hands though

I'm seriously considering the G9 since I've used it before and it's nice to hold.
