The Sims Query.

Basically, as you may already know, the first disc of my Sims Complete Collection is broken, therefore I cannot install/play it.
Recently I've found my original copy of the Sims and I'm wondering if there is a way to extract the expansion packs from the CD on the complete collection, to add to my first edition of the Sims.

I think disk 1 from the complete collection doesn't just contain The Sims 1, I think it contains other stuff as well, so I doubt you can use the original Sims game to install the other disks to make up the complete collection.
