    Default Forum competitions

I posted this a while back in a thread that was related to competitions. However, because the original post wasn't that similar it didn't really get acknowledged all that much. I've posted it again because I think it'd be a great laugh and a bit of fun.

My idea is to have "announcement competitions". I'm not going to take this idea and say I thought of it. I've seen it be very successful on clubhabboforum which seems to be just as busy as HxF as of late. Basically, a competition is posted in the announcement forum and the prize of often +reputation or VIP or what not.

I'll post a few links to show you what I mean:
    http://www.clubhabbo.net/showthread.php?t=208477
    http://www.clubhabbo.net/showthread.php?t=208647
    http://www.clubhabbo.net/showthread.php?t=207653

That's just a few examples so you get what I'm on about. I think this can only make HxF better. It's just a bit of fun for the people who no longer / can no longer use Habbo. I've seen it on CHF - who admittedly seem to have a younger user base - but it's been very successful with a good amount of entrants for each one.

I know for sure if this type of competition was introduced to the forum me and many others would enter. The prize could be tiny, its fundamental function would be to ease boredom and have a laugh, something that should never go a miss on a teen forum.

If anyone is negative without being constructive -rep will be awarded because it seems to be a recurring theme of feedback lately people being excessively rude and sarcastic, I don't care if it's in other forums but yeah.

    Anyway, just an idea. Thoughts?

I'm in agreement with this idea as I think it's great and would work well! +rep for bringing it up, even if it wasn't your idea

    Not online very often

Dont know why this sent *edits*

I am in agreement with this idea also. I know that I use Habbo but what about the ones who dont? We do know this is a forum for Habbo users but some people just come on here because their friends do and to socialise. I'm all up for this idea.

Also, related to competitions, I think they are too much in the shadows. Personally, I actually don't know who the staff are. They don't play too big a part in the area apart from about 3 competitions a month, 2 of which tend to be "CAPTION CONTEST" and "ROOM WITH A VIEW".

I know that Habbox Summer Spectacular is coming up 'n' all (if I'm "leaking info" it's already been posted in a Habbox Announcment so there ) and they may play a slightly bigger part in that but apart from these events they don't really show as much as they can. Maybe if we try to introduce some sort of Competition-Exclusive game which is more Competitions styled than Events and then maybe they'll come out in the light.

It's a competition hack so you get competitions.php file n stuff, its alot more hotter tbhh. HxF comps are too long winded and really out dated. ):

I agree, it would definitely draw more attention to competitions.
