    Default Linking Computers

Right, I'm a bit of a computer noob when it comes to the hardware.

Basically, I have a piece of rubbish Dell PC which is on like 512MB of ram and worst processor than my current PC.

It's sitting next to my main PC and I wondered if there would be any way to connect my current PC to my Dell PC and use the Dell PC as storage.

Can this be achieved with ethernet?

+Rep to anything that helps me

I'm running WinXP and will be running Win7 soon, If I were to make a file server I'd run Ubuntu on it probably, or some sort of LinuxOS.

Wouldnt it be good just getting DC++ (its a program) and connect them both up to one router? That might work, speeds wont be blistering but I'm sure it'd work? Try it out, me and my mates connect like 8 computers to one hub and use that to download eachothers movies and music.
