Watch 5CPS and Pale Cocoon for the story, and the rest for the action. Read or Die is probably the best combination of everything on the list. Great characters, exciting story, fantastic action and animation.

So basically you don't want a short series, but just a good series in general? What was the point in this thread? Should have just looked at the 'good anime to watch' one or the general discussion.

I would liek a series that would keep me busy for about a week.
2-3 hours every night. Thats 6 episodes a night I guess. So about 7x6 = 40ish episode series.
Ach I dont know.

Have you seen Samurai Champloo? If not watch that and Welcome to the NHK. Although NHK might not be your kinda thing.
